It is really hard to describe in a few words how amazing Creative Escape was this year.
The dynamics of all of the teachers was absolutely amazing, and down right inspiring . The first day we displayed our art in a trunk show and spend some laid back casual time with all of the students (my fav part, seeing all of the teachers art!) The displays were AMAZING! Tim Has some great photos of everyone's art on his blog.
We had the chance to teach hundreds of students. 8 classes in two days! (and in my case have them get "down and dirty") All of my students left with quite the inky hands...and probably felt like the just completed creativity bootcamp with a powerboost. I was amazed to see the huge pallet outside the back of my classroom...Thats a TON of product!
that pallet is just for one day! All of that product made this.
filled with 12 little books
I spent so much time laughing it up with so many wonderful women, and men that now my heart is full, and I am ready to get my own ART on!
LOVE< LOVE< LOVEd your class! So much fun!! My daughter was so amazed with the project. She kept saying "why didn't you take me with you?" I think we'll be doing one of these projects together in the near future! Thanks for teaching me some awesome new teqniques!

Your class, inspiring life story, and class project were AMAZING! I was amazed at myself, (being a newbie papercrafter!), for completing this project IN class; that says so much about your teaching skills, inspiration, and preparation ~~ I ditto Jen Lo, YOU TRULY ROCK ... crystalized stones, Marah! Thanks for an awesome experience, and a great project that I look forward to filling with pics and stories from my 23-year marriage . . . of course, I'll have to leave room for the remaining years ~~ OR do a second box to hold our future memories! Hope to cross pathes with you again, Marah! Until then, happy trails!

Marah, I truly enjoyed your class and your project. Thank you for sharing your art and creativity with us!! I didn't think CE could improve after last year, but you and this year's teachers proved me WRONG!!!!

So loved this class and loved starting my morning with inky dirty hands! In fact, I'm making 2 more this week as baby gifts. Perfect for documenting the first 12 months!! Thanks for an awesome experience.

Hey girl! I was truly inspired at my very first Creative Escape last week... I started off my time there with your class and I LOVED it!!! Absolutely among my top 3 or 4 favorites from the week! I love the way it turned out and I am still amazed we were able to complete it in UNDER 2 HOURS! Looking forward to seeing you here in my store on September 19th to watch you inspire another group of women! See you soon!

Mara I really loved your project. You truly made the project easy even though it looks like a difficult thing. Can't wait to get into the little books and finish it.

Marah I can't thank you enough for a fabulous time in your class. I never loved getting down and dirty like I did. It was a fabulous class. Now to get you down to Texas for some classes!!!!!!!

I am so excited to fill up these little books! I have 5-year-old twins (boy/girl) and I showed them your project. They loved the little board books - probably because they had many. I told them that they get to decorate the insides of the little books with their own scrappy creativity. They are so excited to be part of my CE experience! And some day, when I'm old and grey, I can pull out these little books and remember them at this age! Thanks, Marah - you truly ROCK!
